Southland Energy Awarded Comprehensive Energy and Water Saving Upgrades at St. Anne’s-Belfield School
Southland Energy, a division of Southland Industries, has been awarded a series of upgrades and replacements at St. Anne’s – Belfield School in Charlottesville, Virginia. As the first project awarded under VirginiaSAVES, a new program designed to reduce the cost of qualified energy efficiency projects and provide low- or no-cost long term financing, the project is completely self-funding and aims to reduce the school’s carbon footprint by 28 percent.

Southland Energy, a division of Southland Industries, was recently awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) by the US Army Corps of Engineers. As part of a list of thirteen large businesses and one small business awarded this contract, Southland Energy will now be able to implement energy and water efficiency projects for the US Army and other Department of Defense agencies

Southland Energy, the comprehensive energy services division of Southland Industries, was recently awarded a series of energy projects for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in Northern California. Utilizing the state’s proposition 39 funding for energy efficiency and clean energy projects, the design-build energy solutions will consist of HVAC, lighting, and controls upgrades for the district’s facilities. Southland Energy will be responsible for the overall development, design, energy calculations and modeling, as well as the installation of the HVAC, lighting, and controls upgrades.
